Supporting Tibet in the Scottish Parliment

Tibet & Tibetan Buddhism Archive   An invitation out of the blue As a member of the Australian federal parliament between October 2002 and October 2004 with the Australian Green Party and representing the seat of Cunningham, I was a supporter of the Free Tibet! movement. During those two years my staff and I worked closely with the Australian Tibet Information Office to raise the issue of Tibet in the parliament, doing so on a number of occasions. The Tibet Information Office was based in Canberra and headed, at the time, by Tibetan exile Tenzin Phuntsok Atisha.
